Relationship Builder Salesperson at Lantmännen in Hedemora

Do you have a strong commitment to Swedish agriculture and want to work in a role where you can combine advisory services, business acumen, and long-term customer relationships? We are now looking for a relationship-building and solution-oriented Salesperson to join our team in the North, based in Hedemora.

Agriculture is the heart of Lantmännen's unique value chain from field to fork, a business that is the foundation of our broad group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the development of agriculture while growing together with a knowledgeable and supportive team.

This is what you will do

As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for the sale of feed and inputs as well as the purchase of grain from farmers in the region. You will have an advisory and business-oriented role where you meet the customer's needs with a holistic view and knowledge. You will often be out with customers, analyzing growing conditions, market conditions, and the customer's specific production goals to create tailored solutions.

You will be a sounding board for both short-term and long-term decisions and follow up on business throughout the seasons. Through your work, you contribute to creating both sustainability and profitability – for the customer and for Lantmännen. The role involves a high degree of independence in planning your daily work, but you are also part of a team where we collaborate closely, follow up on goals together, and support each other in developing marketing efforts and customer relationships.

The position is based in Hedemora. You will report to the Regional Manager North.

You have

  • Post-secondary education in agriculture, e.g., as an agronomist, farm manager, or agricultural technician, or equivalent experience in feed, crop production, or advisory services
  • Good understanding of the conditions and challenges of agriculture.
  • Preferably experience in sales, advisory services, or another business-driven role within the green sector.
  • Good ability to communicate in both spoken and written Swedish, preferably also in English.
  • Driver's license and access to your own car

  • Relationship-building and confident in establishing long-term trust with various types of customers.
  • Responsive and service-minded, with a solution-oriented and structured approach in your advisory work.
  • Engaged in the customer's business and have a holistic view of the customer's production and profitability.
  • Accustomed to working independently and making your own decisions, but also see the value in sharing knowledge and collaborating in a team.
  • Driven to create value, take responsibility, and make an impact.
